All About Propecia

The medical world has made significant advances especially in the last decade with regards to hair loss procedures and medicnes but has yet to come up with the miracle pill or potion.

The biggest recent advance which is quite incredible when looked at objectively is the Propecia pill made from a compound called finasteride. This tiny tablet if taken daily can stop hair loss and in some cases regrow hair. It works by preventing the build up of DHT (a testosterone related hormone) in the scalp that is the primary cause of male pattern balding a condition that hits millions of men all over the world from as early as the age of 20.
